Meet Nikki! A whirlwind of creativity and passion, Nikki is the heart and soul behind Smooth Flights Events. Born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of northern Michigan, she took her enthusiasm for event planning to new heights while attending Missouri Baptist University in the vibrant city of St. Louis.

Now, she calls Reading, PA home, where she shares her life with her amazing husband, Matt, and their furball, Captain. With over 8 years of hands-on experience, Nikki is no stranger to the intricate dance of event coordination. She’s done it all—from seamlessly organizing venues to managing service staff and collaborating with wedding and fundraising experts. Oh, and did we mention she spent three exhilarating seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals? Talk about hitting a home run! Her time there included a coveted gig as a Special Events Intern, where her love for baseball really soared.

When she's not busy crafting unforgettable events, you can find her wandering the globe, living her best traveler life. Nikki's love story with Matt began during a study abroad adventure in Italy and Greece, where they were both diving deep into sport management. Her heart has always been in sports, especially baseball; by the tender age of 19, she had ticked off every Major League Baseball park from her bucket list!

On her well-deserved days off, you'll find her snuggled up with Captain, indulging in a heartwarming rom-com. And yes, she's got her very own emergency fanny pack—just like J. Lo in “Wedding Planner”! A guiding light in Nikki’s journey was her late grandmother, who always envisioned her as a fabulous wedding planner and adored referencing that iconic film. The swan in our logo is a heartfelt tribute to her grandmother’s favorite bird, reminding Nikki to embody the elegance and love for events that she cherishes so deeply.
